Breakthrough Blasting Efficiency (BBE) was founded by Jared Brennan, a highly experienced Drill and Blast specialist with more than 15 years’ experience in the Australian mining industry as a qualified Shotfirer. Throughout his career, Jared has worked across major open-cut coal operations in New South Wales, developing extensive expertise in surface blasting, explosives management, operational safety, and production-focused blast outcomes.

Jared’s practical industry background allows him to bring real-world knowledge and current industry practices into the learning environment. His training approach focuses on developing practical, workplace-ready skills that support learners to apply their knowledge effectively in operational mining environments.

Holding a Blasting Explosives User Licence for open-cut mining, agricultural and forestry, civil construction, and seismic applications, Jared has extensive experience working within complex and highly regulated blasting environments.
